Nicolae Maniu was born on April 11, 1944 in Turda, Romania.

Education

Initially, Nicolae studied at Fine Arts School of Cluj (present-day Art and Design University of Cluj-Napoca), graduating in 1963.

He continued his studies at Ion Andreescu Art Institut at Sculpture Department.

Career

Since 1971, Maniu has participated in regional, national and international exhibitions, organized by the Romanian Ministry of Culture. In 1983, the painter moved to Köln, Germany, and in 1993 he settled in Paris, France.
